Efficiency meets durability with our 30 kVA dry type transformer
01 General
1.1 Project Description
This compact 30 kVA cast-resin dry-type transformer is designed for reliable medium and low voltage power distribution. Engineered for seamless voltage transformation from 11 kV to 0.22 kV, this transformer supports up to 30 kVA of load. Featuring a Yd11 type vector group. This transformer is equipped with a no-load tap changer (NLTC) with an adjustment range of ±2 × 2.5%. Guarantees robust voltage regulation under sudden load shifts, ensuring uninterrupted power quality.
This dry-type transformer utilizes higher-quality raw materials. The primary core is constructed of grain-oriented silicon steel, which reduces iron losses and improves efficiency. The secondary copper winding offers excellent conductivity. Third-point Class F insulation allows operation at temperatures up to 155°C, making it ideal for hot climates such as the UAE. Superior quality materials, superior design and expert craftsmanship deliver long-standing performance.
Efficiency and Losses: This 30 kva dry type transformer has no-load losses of 0.12 kW and loaded losses of 0.75 kW, minimizing energy waste while maintaining performance. A 4% impedance limits short-circuit current and maintains stable voltage under load.

02 Manufacturing
2.1 Core
The core design of our single-phase dry-type transformer uses grain-oriented silicon steel sheets. It gives good performance and keeps the unit small and light. This is helpful where space is limited, like in homes, small shops, and light industrial use. | ![]() |
2.2 Winding
![]() | The 30 kVA dry-type transformer’s coils also utilize high-quality copper conductors to ensure low losses and excellent mechanical strength. The windings utilize a Class F (155°C) insulation system, combined with epoxy resin integral casting technology, providing excellent resistance to moisture, dust, and short circuits, ensuring stable and reliable operation for customers.

2.3 IP20 Enclosure
Our dry-type transformer uses an IP20 enclosure, which prevents solid objects larger than 12.5 mm, such as accidental human contact with live parts, from entering. It protects against electric shock and ensures basic safety, making it suitable for indoor installation of dry-type transformers. | ![]() |
2.4 Final Assembly
