From energy to the future, the Three-Phase Pad-Mounted Transformer ensures excellence every second!
01 General
1.1 Project Description
This 75 kVA Pad mounted transformer was delivered to Canada in 2024, the rated power of the transformer is 75kVA, the primary voltage and secondary voltage of the transformer are 13.8/0.208kV. This type of pad mounted transformer produced by our company adopts the double fuse full-range protection mode, which greatly reduces the operating cost. In addition, the transformer loss is lower than the national standard, 20 years maintenance-free, economic and environmental protection.
We ensure that each one of our delivered units has undergone rigorous full acceptance testing. We provide one-package service from consulting, quoting, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, training to after sale services, our products are now operating in more than 50 counties in the world. We aim to be your most reliable supplier as well as your best partner in business!

02 Manufacturing
2.1 Core
The transformer core production process mainly includes the following steps:
| ![]() |
2.2 Winding
![]() | The advantages of foil winding are: good mechanical strength, easy deformation, can withstand short-circuit force; Good electrical strength, uniform impact gradient voltage distribution; Easy to wind. Foil transformer adopts high conductivity aluminum foil as a conductive material, the thickness of aluminum foil is about 0.1 ~ 2.5mm, and each layer of wire foil is one turn. The conductive foil is lined with insulating paper, the thickness is 0.05 ~ 0.12mm, and the diamond dispensing cable paper is generally used. Because there may be metal dust on the surface of the conductive foil board, and the insulating paper will also have small pinholes, high-strength insulating paper should be used as interlayer insulation. The head and tail of the conductive foil plate are welded with a conductive bar (also with cold pressing clamp) as the lead wire of the winding. |
2.3 Tank
| The transformer oil tank is welded with high strength steel plate. Anti-magnetic shielding measures are adopted inside the fuel tank to reduce stray loss. The magnetic shield is fixed and insulated well, which can effectively avoid overheating or discharge caused by poor contact. All kinds of electrical shields have good conduction and reliable grounding, effectively avoiding suspended discharge or affecting the dielectric loss factor of the winding. In addition, the tank adopts anti-corrosion design and special spray painting treatment, which is suitable for various harsh environments. | ![]() |
2.4 Final Assembly
![]() | 1. Transformer active part assembly It includes insulation assembly and coil head dressing treatment, coil set, insert plate and clamp, half-finished test of the body, lead assembly (including switch assembly, lead manufacturing and assembly), half-finished test of the body, and furnace drying of the body (including insulation resistance measurement). 2. Total assembly This includes finishing and fastening of the body, measuring the insulation resistance of the iron core to the ground, checking the cleanliness of the body and the tightness of each component, the insulation distance of the wiring and the lead, and filling the oil into the box (including the installation of transformer accessories). |
