Reliable and efficient power for commercial, industrial, and community use with our 750 kVA three-phase pad-mounted transformer
01 General
1.1 Project Description
This 750kVA three-phase oil-immersed pad-mounted transformer is made for Canada. It meets the strict CSA C227.4:21 standard. From design to testing, every part follows Canadian safety and performance rules. It is a good choice for commercial, industrial, and community power distribution.
The 750 kVA three phase pad-mounted transformer uses an oil-immersed, self-cooled (ONAN) system. It uses mineral oil for insulation and cooling. This ensures stable and reliable work. This transformer has a rated capacity of 750kVA. It works with 60Hz power grids. The primary voltage is 12.47kV. The secondary voltage is 0.6kV. It uses a YNyn0 connection. This provides stable three-phase, four-wire power.
The transformer has an energy efficiency of 99.15%. The no-load loss is about 1400W, and the load loss is about 8000W. This helps reduce running costs. The impedance is 5.75%. The device has an off-circuit tap changer. This allows the voltage to be adjusted within a range of ±2 x 2.5%. This helps to keep the output voltage stable when the grid voltage changes. The tap changer comes with a protective cover and a wrench. This makes the operation both safe and straightforward.

02 Manufacturing
2.1 Core
Each silicon steel sheet has a thin insulation coating. This stops eddy currents and keeps layers apart. The tight stacking and clean surface make the core firm and smooth. It helps lower vibration, reduce noise, and make the unit last longer.
2.2 Winding
Both high and low voltage windings are constructed from durable aluminum, ensuring superior performance and a long service life. Precision-wound aluminum foil and wire coils ensure effective heat dissipation and structural strength. 5.75% impedance and 99.15% efficiency ensure stable, long-lasting operation while maintaining high efficiency.
2.3 Tank
The tank can handle 50 kPa gauge pressure without leakage or deformation beyond 0.25% of the diagonal. Each cabinet is tamperproof, weatherproof, and built for outdoor operation. Captive pentahead bolts are fitted according to CSA C227.4 standards. exterior surfaces are protected with an anti-corrosion coating suitable for highly contaminated or coastal environments. | ![]() |
2.4 Final assembly
![]() | We have established standardized operating instructions covering all final assembly processes, ensuring uniformity and standardization of every step, from body assembly to vacuum oil filling, laying a solid foundation for product consistency. Regarding team building, we implement a “mentor-apprentice” system, where experienced masters mentor newcomers, ensuring the inheritance of professional skills and a rigorous quality consciousness. Through the close integration of standardized processes and a professional team, we effectively guarantee the superior quality and reliability of every transformer that leaves our factory. |
