Exceptional transmission, precise power supply – Single-phase pole-mounted transformer powering a better life.
01 General
1.1 Project Description
This 50kVA single phase pole mounted transformer is exported to Canada in July, 2024. The rated power of the dry type transformer is 50 kVA, the primary voltage is 34.5 kV and secondary voltage is 0.12/0.24 kV. The transformers produced by our company are designed with high efficiency and energy saving rolled iron core structure. The iron core material is made of high quality cold rolled grain oriented silicon steel sheet insulated by mineral oxide. By controlling the cutting and assembling process of silicon steel sheet, the loss level of transformer and no-load current and noise level are minimized. In addition, the transformer’s unique winding technology effectively improves the lightning resistance and short-circuit resistance. It is mainly used in the distribution network of rural areas, agricultural production and civil building power supply and distribution system.
We ensure that each one of our delivered units has undergone rigorous full acceptance testing. We provide one-package service from consulting, quoting, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, training to after sale services, our products are now operating in more than 50 counties in the world. We aim to be your most reliable supplier as well as your best partner in business!

02 Manufacturing
2.1 Core
| Because the coil core is wound along the best magnetic direction of the oriented silicon steel sheet, it fully gives full play to the superior performance of the oriented silicon steel sheet, the magnetic flux direction is completely consistent with the orientation of the silicon steel sheet, the overload capacity is strong, and the magnetic circuit distortion is small, so the no-load loss and no-load current are smaller than the laminated iron core (the laminated iron core will have magnetic circuit distortion because of the laminated joint). | ![]() |
2.2 Winding
![]() | – Low voltage winding with high quality cable paper wrapped wire, – The high voltage winding is wound with high-quality polyurethane-enamelled aluminium wire – Interlayer insulation uses dotting paper to bond the coil into a fixed unit with excellent insulation resistance – The transformer structure is reliable during normal operation and transportation |
2.3 Tank
| – Japan Mitsubishi laser cutting machine and CNC punching, reducing, folding and other equipment to ensure the accuracy of processing – ABB robot automatic welding, laser detection, avoid leakage, pass rate of 99.99998% – Electrostatic spray treatment, 50 years do not remove paint (coating corrosion resistance within 100h, hardness ≥0.4) – Cylinder type fully sealed construction with self-sealing manual pressure relief valve (ANSI specification) – Standard NEMA hanger brackets (each unit includes pole support rack plates) – Fully sealed structure, maintenance-free, normal operation life of more than 30 years | ![]() |
