On June 24, 2026, SCOTECH’s transformer factory welcomed a delegation of US customers for an on‑site visit. The primary purpose of this visit was to conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT) on two pad‑mounted transformers that had been ordered, as well as to tour the production lines and exchange views on manufacturing processes and supporting component solutions. This allowed the customers to gain a first‑hand understanding of SCOTECH’s delivery capabilities and quality control systems for the North American market.

Accompanied throughout by the company’s technical, foreign trade, and production teams, the customers first went to the finished product testing area, where the two custom‑built pad‑mounted transformers underwent FAT. The units were models 2500kVA‑34.5/0.6kV and 2000kVA‑34.5/0.48kV, both outdoor compact distribution transformers designed to meet US grid standards. In accordance with international and North American industry norms, the two transformers were subjected to detailed performance checks and verifications, including ratio tests, winding DC resistance measurements, no‑load and load loss validations, and withstand voltage/insulation tests. All measured data were excellent and fully met the project’s design requirements and technical specifications, earning high recognition from the customers.

After the testing, the delegation toured the main production lines. The SCOTECH team provided a thorough explanation of the key manufacturing processes for transformers, covering precision core assembly, high‑ and low‑voltage coil winding, vacuum drying of the active part, and final assembly. Throughout the tour, the advanced production techniques, strict on‑site management, and the skilled operation of the staff left a strong impression on the visitors. The customers also showed particular interest in several key accessories, such as elbow‑type arresters, and asked detailed questions about their performance characteristics and quality control measures. The SCOTECH team’s professional and comprehensive responses further strengthened the mutual trust between the two sides.

This visit and the successful acceptance testing are not only solid proof of SCOTECH’s product quality, but also another important milestone in the company’s international strategy and its deepened presence in the North American market. SCOTECH has always adhered to the principle of “quality first, customer foremost,” and is committed to providing reliable and efficient power solutions to customers worldwide. Looking ahead, SCOTECH will continue to offer superior products and professional services, deepen partnerships with international allies, and jointly promote sustainable development in the energy sector.
