This week, the company carried out a special training on fuses to improve the business level of the company’s employees and effectively improve the quality of the company’s staff.
At the beginning of the training, the trainer first starts with the working principle of the fuse and elaborates its key role in circuit protection. As an important safety protection device in the electrical system, the fuse can quickly fuse when the current exceeds the set value, cut off the circuit, and prevent the emergence of equipment damage and safety hazards. This part allows participants to deeply understand the importance of fuses in ensuring the safe operation of equipment.
Next, the trainer gave a detailed introduction to the types of fuses. The training covers a variety of fuse types, including plug-in fuses, weak connections, backup partial range limiting fuses, and isolated connectors. The lecturer analyzed the applicable scenarios and performance characteristics of each fuse, providing a theoretical basis for employees to choose the right fuse in actual work.

In addition, the trainers also focused on the protection range of fuses and their application in transformers and other electrical equipment, emphasizing the importance of reasonable selection of fuses. He pointed out that the specifications and configuration of the fuse are directly related to the reliability of the equipment, and the participants said that they have a more in-depth understanding of this.
Finally, the training also explored the structure of the fuse in depth, including the end plug, tubular housing, dual-sensitive exhaust fuse, internal bracket and other components, which enhanced the intuitive understanding of the work of the fuse.
Our company will continue to pay attention to the professional skills training of employees, constantly improve the quality of the team, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of the company.
![]() | Bayonet fuses A Bay-o-net fuse is a protective device used in three-phase oil-immersed transformers. It is primarily used to prevent damage to the transformer caused by overcurrent and high temperature. It cuts off the faulty circuit by melting, thus protecting the equipment. |
![]() | Current Limit Fuses (CLF) A current-limiting fuse for a three-phase pad-mounted transformer is an electrical protection device designed to quickly limit the current flowing during a short circuit or overload event, protecting the transformer and connected equipment from damage. Its primary function is to melt when the current reaches a preset threshold, preventing excessive current from causing stress on the electrical system and potentially causing failure. |

![]() | Weaklink This is an internal, “weak-link” venting fuse designed for use in transformer oil and similar applications. It protects the distribution system from damage caused by transformer faults and prevents excessive transformer damage due to overload or fault conditions. It can be used alone or in combination with current-limiting fuses for high-current faults. |
