On July 28, 2025, an important client from South Africa visited the factory of SCOTECH. Accompanied by SCOTECH’s professional team, the South African client followed the production process of transformers and visited key production links such as core stacking, coil winding, oil tank manufacturing, final assembly and testing in sequence. The client showed great interest in each link and kept communicating and discussing with the accompanying personnel.
In the core stacking workshop, the client witnessed the process of silicon steel sheets being precisely stacked to form the core components of transformers. The neat operation and strict precision control made the client have an intuitive understanding of SCOTECH’s rigorous attitude in the production of basic components. In the coil winding link, advanced winding equipment was running at high speed. Under the operation of technicians, copper wires were orderly wound into coils of different specifications. Its efficiency and precision won the client’s continuous nods of approval.
In the oil tank manufacturing workshop, pieces of steel plates gradually turned into solid and durable transformer oil tanks after cutting, welding, grinding and other processes. The client carefully checked the welding quality and sealing performance of the oil tanks and expressed recognition for SCOTECH’s efforts in ensuring the safe operation of transformers. In the final assembly link, various components were organically combined, and the prototypes of transformers gradually took shape. The client observed the details in the assembly process at close range and highly praised the skilled craftsmanship of the workers.
The final testing link is the key to inspecting the performance of transformers. SCOTECH is equipped with advanced testing equipment, which can conduct comprehensive testing on various parameters of transformers. The client watched the testing personnel carry out a series of tests such as withstand voltage and insulation on the transformers, learned about the performance indicators of the products in detail, and spoke highly of the reliability of SCOTECH’s products. In addition to the production process, the client also focused on visiting various types of transformer products of SCOTECH, including pole mounted transformer, pad mounted transformer, power transformer, distribution transformer, substation transformer, dry type transformer and special transformer.
